About the concept
This site is dedicated to covering the topic of personal power, and the powerful effect it can have on our lives, and lifestyles.
In particular, what you believe about yourself, and the value you have to offer, is a stronger influence on how successful you are than any number of qualifications, any amount of experience, or any number of other factors.
You’ve seen it. The ‘Dilbert’ employee who is hopeless in the job, but somehow manages promotion after promotion. They walk into the interview convinced that they’re the best thing since sliced bread, and walk out having convinced the panel to believe the same way.
Here is where I share the lessons my own life has taught me – from being a total victim, to taking the reins of my life into my own hands and creating something better – over and over again. Best of all, the breakthroughs I’ve had and helped create for friends are not the slow, gradual progress kind – they’re quantum breakthroughs, and they happen FAST. I’ve walked from one job into another at half as much again, through to nearly double salary, just by working on what I share here. Three times (so far). I’ve also applied this to other areas – like creating my ideal home, attracting a relationship, etc etc. Bottom line, I know it works. Having had the benefit of others helping me along the way, it’s now my turn to share what I know and help you.
- If you badly want to succeed, but find your doubts and fears holding you back, this site is for you.
- If you worry more about what the world might think than what you stand to gain, keep reading.
- If life just keeps on throwing you curveballs, and you wonder when you’re ever going to catch a break, then I want to help you.
About Me
I’m female, 24 until further notice, and hate being stereotyped. So much so that when I decided to learn bellydancing, I also went and signed up for motorbike lessons at the same time – just to make sure I couldn’t be pigeon-holed. My interests include life, the universe and everything – sci-fi/fantasy is my favourite form of escapism. I also love languages and speak 4, but am working on another. I work as an analyst in a government department by day, and indulge in metaphysical philosophy on my own time. I’m a vegetarian because my body won’t let me be anything else, and never has, although lately I’ve been experimenting with raw veganism and juice feasting. Most of all, I’m a serious dedicated geek. I’ve been online since 1989, and the internet is my home town.
If you’re looking for my formal qualifications, I have a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, followed by Honours in Education Social & Policy Studies, both from the University of Sydney. I have training certifications as well, plus quite a few other pieces of paper, but frankly, I consider my life experiences and where I am now to be the real qualifications – they mean much more than any certificate.
If you would like to know more about where I’ve come from, and the steps I’ve taken along the way, there is my personal blog at CrystalsQuest or you can check out my free newsletter, which often gives a brief rundown on where I’m at in my own journey, along with the lessons I’m picking up on the way.
The link coming soon under ‘Personal’ will take you to a brief biography, and a few other interesting points about me, including an astrological profile for those of you who are interested.
